With a print speed of up to 12 inches per second and 32-bit system architecture to provide the processing power behind the scenes, the CLP 9000 series is designed for the most challenging of applications for batch printing or on-demand labeling.

Easy to use

With Citizens own strict demands for ease-of-use and reliability in mind, the CLP 9000 series printers all feature easy media loading with a wide access printhead system and colour-coded operator cues to make media and ribbon loading simplicity itself.

Friendly LCD Control Panel

Using the LCD control panel to make changes to the configuration is very straightforward with logically set out menus and categories to quickly adjust the printers operation. And with quick servicing in mind, the printhead and the media plattens can each be changed in just one minute or less!

Parallel, USB, IEEE and Ethernet

Easy connection to the outside world is via the standard parallel and RS232C serial interfaces (up to115,200 bps) and optionally IEEE 1284 high speed parallel, ethernet networking or a USB interface modules. Other options include a PCMCIA interface, two types of autocutter and a real-time clock and calendar.

Compatible

For complete compatibility, the printer features an industry standard software emulation allowing easy connection to many software packages. Alternatively, Citizens Windows drivers are compatible with all common software packages.

Durablity and Flexiblity in One Unit

The heavy duty metal case provides durability, yet easy access to the media bays and the die-cast internal mechanism opens extremely wide for quick loading of labels and ribbons. However, the stylish case design means that the printer wont look out of place in an office or shop as well as a warehouse or production line.

Other Features

Other features and functions include a 10-inch paper roll holder as standard, media autocalibration for quicker setup when switching between different media types, flash downloadable firmware for easy upgrading and an optional factory fitted internal rewinder and peeler with peel wait sensor.
